Overview

Talenteo digitalizes human capital across the region by building next-generation HR and recruitment platforms. We are building a robust, scalable platform that can handle high data volumes and support strong growth. As an Infrastructure Architect on the backend team, you will design, build, and secure high-performance microservices in a Java / Spring Boot environment. You will play a central role in distributed architecture and asynchronous data processing.

What you will do

  • Microservice architecture: design, build, and evolve scalable, resilient microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
  • API design: create and document secure RESTful APIs for frontend applications and third-party services.
  • Data & asynchronous processing: model and optimize PostgreSQL databases, and implement event processing with Apache Kafka.
  • Security & authentication: protect access and transactions across services by implementing OAuth2 and JWT standards.
  • Quality & testing: apply Clean Code principles and maintain strong unit and integration test coverage.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience on complex backend projects, ideally with high-traffic or scalability requirements.
  • Core stack: Java and Spring Boot.
  • Architecture: microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Data: PostgreSQL and asynchronous processing with Kafka.
  • Security: OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Quality: unit tests and Clean Code.
  • Bonus: experience with SaaS platforms or HR/payroll solutions is a strong advantage.
  • Engineering rigor, complex problem-solving skills, teamwork, and performance focus.
