In this context, we are hiring a Finance Manager capable of structuring and leading Code213's financial function to support this scaling phase.

Overview

The Finance Manager will steer Code213's financial performance, safeguard cash flow, and implement the tools needed to scale the school's growth. In particular, they will provide Executive Leadership with clear visibility into the profitability of each activity, available cash, costs, and financial outlook. The role combines finance, management control, reporting, and business finance.

What you will do

  • Financial steering: Build and monitor Code213's annual budget. Develop financial forecasts and rolling forecasts. Track revenue by training course, program, and acquisition channel. Analyze costs and profitability across offerings and track budget-to-actual variances. Produce financial dashboards for Executive Leadership and identify profitability levers.
  • Cash management & treasury: Steer daily treasury and build short- and medium-term liquidity forecasts. Track collections from enrollments/courses and control payments to suppliers/contractors. Monitor client payment terms, accounts receivable, and optimize working capital requirements (WCR). Anticipate financing needs and establish accurate tracking of financial commitments.
  • Accounting & tax: Supervise accounting with the external accounting firm / accounting team and ensure data reliability. Supervise monthly closes and audit primary accounts and entries. Monitor tax/regulatory obligations and prepare elements required for audits and inspections.
  • Financial reporting & profitability analysis: Establish monthly reporting (revenue by course/channel, margin by program, marketing costs, CAC, fill rate, payroll, EBITDA). Measure the economic performance of each offering with commercial, marketing, and academic teams. Analyze student acquisition cost, marketing campaign ROI, instructor costs, and short vs. long training profitability. Transform finance into a genuine strategic business decision-making tool.
  • Management control & scaling support: Implement financial control procedures, control expenditures, and monitor departmental budgets. Build necessary financial business cases before launching new projects (new training programs, digital platform, international expansion, partnerships). Automate reporting and continuously improve financial processes.

Requirements

  • Experience: Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Management Control, or Business School. 3 to 7 years of experience in finance, management control, audit, or FP&A (experience in EdTech, SaaS, tech, services, or audit/consulting firms is a plus).
  • Financial techniques: Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, financial analysis, budget/forecast, cash-flow, management control, reporting, and general accounting (knowledge of BI, ERP, or CRM tools is appreciated).
  • Communication & languages: Excellent oral and written communication in French. Proficiency in English is a valued asset.
  • Soft skills: Rigorous, analytical, organized, autonomous, business-oriented, very comfortable with numbers, capable of thriving in an entrepreneurial setting and transforming data into concrete recommendations.
