Overview

SlickPay is a leading fintech company in Algeria that simplifies and secures everyday transactions. To support rapid growth, keep our payment platforms highly available, and automate infrastructure, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer. Reporting to the technical team, you will work closely with software engineers and security teams to design, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly secure infrastructure.

What you will do

  • Infrastructure & scaling: design, provision, and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or similar platforms to handle rising real-time transaction volumes.
  • CI/CD & automation: build, optimize, and automate deployment pipelines to speed up production releases without compromising stability.
  • Security & compliance: protect systems against threats by applying banking security standards and financial data protection practices.
  • Monitoring & resilience: monitor performance through metrics, logs, and alerts, and support incident management to maintain high availability.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer role, ideally in fintech, e-commerce, or high-traffic environments.
  • Strong command of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid experience with deployment and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Strong command of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Linux systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
  • Strong command of monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • High rigor, strong analytical thinking, ability to work under pressure, and close collaboration with development teams.
